The studio & me

 Thank you for taking the time to check out my website, making sure you are a good fit with your photographer is super important, as to get really beautiful images, you have feel relaxed and comfortable, so here is a little about me .As you will have already gathered I am passionate about my art and a bit of a perfectionist.....but as with every great photo shoot, there is much more to me behind the scenes....

I am a Cheshire girl born and bred and apart for a few years when we were living in Montana USA, I have always lived in this area. I grew up in Kingsley where I went to primary school and then on to Cransley girls school.

I live with my long suffering, (so he says)  husband Ian, a  16 stone Saint Bernard called Hudson and with a 3 legged cat called Spider.  We are super lucky that our son Sam, daughter Beth and our grandson Max all live locally. Max, is the love of our lives and you will see images all over the studio, website, Facebook and Instagram documenting different stages of his life, after all isn't that what photography is all about.  He is hilarious and so used to having a Nannie that constantly takes photos, that every time he comes in to the studio, he walks straight over to one of the sets and strikes a pose, however like all 4 olds, it only lasts 10 mins and then he wants to go and get ice cream.

I got my first digital camera and was taught how to use it while we were living in Montana back in the early 2000's and that was it, I was hooked, Montana was also were we fell in love with Saint Bernards and have had at least one ever since. Hudson our latest boy a giant bear of love and hair, and when I am not in the studio or with Max, you will normally find me walking with him round Shakerley Mere or Marbury Park and occasionally in the show ring at Crufts.
